We need the names of the nine please

Am I correct that all Democrats voted for her and 9 Republicans and if so, can someone quickly get us the name of the nine?

    Sotomayor Confirmed
    August 6, 2009 3:00 PM | Permalink | Comments (0) | Share This

The Senate has confirmed Sonia Sotomayor as the next associate justice of the SCOTUS by a 68-31 vote.

All but one of 60 Dems voted for Sotomayor; Sen. Ted Kennedy (D-MA) missed the vote. Ailing Sens. Robert Byrd (D-WV) and Barbara Mikulski (D-MD) appeared on the floor in wheelchairs to vote yes.

Nine GOPers voted for her: Sens. Lamar Alexander (TN), Kit Bond (MO), Susan Collins (ME), Lindsey Graham (SC), Judd Gregg (NH), Dick Lugar (IN), Mel MartÃ*nez (FL), Olympia Snowe (ME) and George Voinovich (OH).

A full breakdown of the vote will appear in this space later today.

Great, we have yet another racist in the Obama kingdom,

Pray for America, we must have sinned greatly to bring this evil upon our country.

I am not surprised they betrayed us again. God help America. We called our so-called political representatives and as usual they ignored what we wanted. Let's keep this in mind when they come up for office again and vote them all out. Traitors.

Why did SC vote Graham back in last year?

    Lamar Alexander 2014

On January 8, 2009, Senator Bond announced that he will not be seeking re-election in 2010.
