Thread: Why has President Obama halted our border fence?

Last Month President Obama halted our Southern Border fence. Only 650 miles of the 900 miles that authorized has been completd. Does our President care abot the safety of America?

Nope. He basically doesn't. He is a NWO student that was elected because of his cuteness. Kinda like a Miss/Mr America contestant.

It was halted because it is a monumental waste of money and largely ineffective outside of urban areas.

That's not true. Because of the fence, border crossings are down 95% in the Yuma area. The reason they quit building it is because it does work.

ABSOLUTELY NOT TRUE!

The double-layered fence that was called for in the Secure Fence Act of 2006 works. Now I'll grant you, some of the extremely weak fencing they've been attempting to pass off as a legitimate fence is ineffective.

It has been proven that a quality fence does work. San Diego's double-layered fencing is a fine example of a fence that works.

Obama is only interested in turning this country into a socialist state. He can do that as long as the majority of us don't have to depend on entitlement programs. By allowing all of these poor indigent illegals into this county he is building a need for entitlements, thus socialism.

A fence would never work to deter illegal immigration. They need to build a wall. The great wall of China was built a long time ago in much harder conditions so with today's technology and equipment I'm sure we could do the same. The problem is that The U.S. doesn't want to build a wall between its borders and Mexico. Why? Trade. Import/Export, cheap laborers for farmers and ranchers, etc. As long as the rich aren't being affected by illegal immigration, nothing will happen. It will be business as usual.
