Lou Dobbs Tonight
Monday, April 7, 2008

Tonight, we’ll have complete coverage of Clinton campaign chief
Mark Penn’s departure following reports that he lobbied on
behalf of the Colombian government for a free trade agreement
that Clinton opposes.

And President Bush was pushing that same trade agreement today.
We’ll have the latest on this country’s faith-based trade
policy. Plus:

* The Bush administration has handed a victory to business
special interest groups looking to hire cheap foreign labor
instead of American workers. A new policy allows foreign
students with a technology background to stay in the United
States for up to 29 months rather than 12—greatly increasing
the odds they will receive H-1B guest worker visas.

* Critics of the communist Chinese regime continue to make
their voices heard in protests along the Olympic torch
route—pointing out the regime’s disregard for human rights in
Tibet, its support for the Sudanese government responsible for
Darfur and its oppression of free thought and expression in
mainland China. We’ll have the details on protests in Paris,
San Francisco and more.

* The number of legal immigrants that became U.S. citizens last
year dropped 17% due mainly to federal administrative problems.
Last year the Citizenship and Immigration Service received a
flood of citizenship applications ahead of a drastic fee
increase and the agency simply does not have the resources to
process the applications in a timely fashion.

* Absolut Vodka ran an ad in Mexican publications showing a
redrawn map of the Mexico incorporating Arizona, California,
and other southern states. Absolut has pulled the ad in
response to the criticism. We’ll have a report on the outrage
over the ad.

Lou’s new radio program, the Lou Dobbs Show, debuted last
month. Join us weekdays from 3-6 p.m. Eastern, for a look at
news and politics aimed at independent thinkers. Check your
local listings at LouDobbsRadio.com, or listen live online.

Today, we'll be covering the Clinton campaign's parting ways
with a top advisor after he helped the Colombian government
promote a free-trade agreement that the senator opposes. We'll
also check in with TexasTurf's Terri Hall about this weekend's
protest of the so-called NAFTA Superhighway. And we'll be
taking your calls.

Lou’s book INDEPENDENTS DAY is now on sale in bookstores and on
Amazon.com and BarnesandNoble.com. In Independents Day, Lou
issues a rallying cry to American citizens eager for a change,
focusing particularly on the critical issues and challenges of
the 2008 election.

Check out the completely re-designed
http://www.loudobbs.com, featuring the latest
updates on Lou’s TV and radio shows, audio and video clips,
written commentary and more.

I canceled other plans for this one. This could be fun to watch. I wonder if they will try to defend their actions.

Ok, for anyone able to tune in today...

The story is going to be covered by Casey Wian, and is supposed to be up next about 4:15pm PT.

He just jabbed at the SPLC in the overview soundbyte with Casey too. Laughing

Interview Prof. George Grayson of W & M college

Playing a recorded message from Absolut to callers in on the subject.

Replaying the standard PR dribble from the printed message earlier...

Mentioned the Pernod Ricard purchase,

Mentioned LATimes Poll (overwhelmingly disapproval)

Mentions 316 pages from the blog on LA times - has printed pages to show it too - it's about 2-3 inches thick of printed computer paper Laughing

Casey said the word 'Absolutely' and Lou caught him on it, -it was funny Laughing

Now mentioning now many times they've mentioned the Reconquista movement on the show in the past, dispelling criticism of SPLC and other groups...

Now, airing story about Bill Gates/H-1b/change in Administrative Rules regarding allowing longer length of time window for STEM graduates after graduation (now, extended up to 2 years)

Story by Bill Tucker; Lou invited Gator to come on his show and talk about it.

Yes, I agree jim.

For others that are curious, look for the show transcripts posted here in the next 12 hours or so:

http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/ldt.html

It was a good show today with 2 or 3 very good stories - coverage of Absolut, Bill Gates / IT workers story, etc.

Glad Lou Dobbs gets this news out to all.

Oh well, I guess I can kiss any hope of using my physics and materials engineering degrees goodbye. I'm one of those dumb Americans they can't seem to find. You know, the kind that invented all this technology we're too stupid to run.
I'm declaring bankruptcy tomorrow. This is not a joke. I never thought it would come to this, after so many people have thought my ideas are innovative and healthy for the environment. I truly never thought this would happen to me. Wish me luck on my food stamp and rent assistance application next Monday - I have to compete with illegals for social services, and foreigners for jobs. I can't take on the world by myself. Intelligence and hard work don't matter anymore, if you're American. Why should I expect Bill Gates to respect Americans with college degrees? After all, he couldn't do it. Neither could those politicians who sold me out.

Great segment on Glen Beck tonight. Talks about Reconquista and Absolut ad. Scary stuff!! Going to watch it again later! You just HAVE to see the bozo that he was interviewing from San Francisco. That city has turned into the biggest joke that one can imagine. Complete with clowns like Gavin Newsom! Can't wait for the total economic and social collapse of this once great city. Sad.
