Beta testers needed for Absolut Boycott site launching this

Friends,

We are launching the boycott against Absolut this morning. We have rushed to get a boycott website ready.

We need site testers and proof readers.

The Seperatist movement evidence page is still under construction so you can skip that one page.

Please help us in the following ways.

1. Visit www.boycottabsolut.com and visit every page looking for errors or typos.
2. Test each link and feature on each page including the comments section.
3. Let me know if each of you can see the banner of the crowd with the signs at the top and that this banner shows up on each page.

Please post any changes, comments, or suggestions here.

Is everything clear and easy to read and follow etc?

Saw the banner. Links connected. Check these two blocks.

Sentiments that the Southwest United States rightfully belong to Mexico are so prevalent in Mexico and among illegal aliens that the Absolut Vodka company ran this ad on a billboard and in a Mexican magazine called Quien

The ad's message to the Mexican audience is "In an Absolut (ie Perferct) world, 1/3 of the US is returned to Mexican control.

Period needed at end of Quien. And then also,

The ad's message to the Mexican audience is, "In an Absolut (ie Perferct) world, 1/3 of the US is returned to Mexican control."

-is that how they spelled perfect or?

In the Products to boycott page, the Pernod link at the bottom is not hyperlinked to take you to their site.

Correct spelling to Pernod Ricard above the link.

Question is Perferct spelled correctly? and why only one " mark?

I noted the same typo jim did above (re: 'perfect' vs. 'perferct')

Also, I have 3 suggestions:

1. In banner graphic, I'd show fewer faces (people), and more signs documenting the 'this land is ours' claim. People need to see more evidence that the reconquista thing is real and is more widespread than imagined.

2. There needs to be explicit criticism or mention of the Swedish parent company. The local advertiser for V&S created and published the ad, but the parent company needs more attribution for allowing the ad program to go forward (or for not properly managing local advertising programs)

3. Create a new 'printable page' or download document that is a distributable flyer (as we have used in the past) for people to drop off at their local liquor stores and/or other retail outlets. Spreading by word of mouth with evidence in-hand will spread awareness exponentially.

It looks good aside from the typos mentioned above. The text is a bit small but everything is easy to follow on the site.

It wouldn't hurt to mention the full line of Absolut Vodka products (including flavors - Citron, Pear, vanilla, etc.).

How about adding a link to a reference or source to what Reconquista is?

Many people either still don't know about it, or will want some additional supporting information (after all, it is the underpinning to the entire ad and re-mapping of North American national boundaries in this case).

Anybody know of 1 really good, clear, objective source site or link?

Why is the boycott against pernod-ricard?

They had nothing to do with the ad, and the sale is still pending.

Why a visitor counter at the top of the home page? No one has used those things for years. I think the one at the bottom is sufficient, but that's just me and every other visitor from outside ALIPAC.

I also agree Pernod-Ricard has nothing to do with it.

Great site William. I have already forwarded it on to people in my family and my friends. I know that if this keeps up, the numbers of Americans who have been informed, just as with Bank of Illegal Aliens and Miller, will grow quickly, I am anxious to hear about the coming backlash.

PhredE, this video of the Consualte personnel in SD just makes me seethe. Though, you could tell he had that typical bravado thing going on, he was a bit intimidated, it was the way he was looking down to the ground when he spoke, which indicates he is not so confident in what he is saying, as well he has a constant smile which is really ingenuine, which is also to cover for his aparent concerns for himself. BTW, hands in pocket, a sign he feels "exposed".
