La Raza isn't just one organization. It is many. I'm not sure why so many. Maybe when they get in trouble they branch off and make up a new similar name to avoid retribution.
I sort of figure them as a Federal Government front organization. In other words an organization that can do to us what the Federal Government would like to do to us but couldn't straight out. Others think it goes deeper than this. Here is a quote from an article along those lines.
