Less than 2% of illegal aliens are picking our crops, but 29% are on welfare. Over 70% of the United States ' annual population growth(and over 90% of California , Florida , and New York ) results from immigration. 29% of inmates in federal prisons are illegal aliens .

County Spends $600 Mil On Welfare For Illegal Immigrants

For the second consecutive year taxpayers in a single U.S. county will dish out more than half a billion dollars just to cover the welfare and food-stamp costs of illegal immigrants.
Los Angeles County, the nation’s most populous, may be in the midst of a dire financial crisis but somehow there are plenty of funds for illegal aliens. In January alone, anchor babies born to the county’s illegal immigrants collected more than $50 million in welfare benefits. At that rate the cash-strapped county will pay around $600 million this year to provide illegal aliens’ offspring with food stamps and other welfare perks.
The exorbitant figure, revealed this week by a county supervisor, doesn’t even include the enormous cost of educating, medically treating or incarcerating illegal aliens in the sprawling county of about 10 million residents. Los Angeles County annually spends more than $1 billion for those combined services, including $500 million for healthcare and $350 million for public safety.
About a quarter of the county’s welfare and food stamp issuances go to parents who reside in the United States illegally and collect benefits for their anchor babies, according to the figures from the county’s Department of Social Services. In 2009 the tab ran $570 million and this year’s figure is expected to increase by several million dollars.

Sanction cities need to lose federal funding if they refuse to allow law enforcement from enforcing applicable immigration laws; and city officials that interfere with the enforcement of police enforcing immigration laws shall be charged and prosecuted. This in Los Angles alone will reduce crime associated with gang activity drastically!

Actually I've been thinking the stealth socialism has been going on for decades and sucking our ecconomy dry.

Every time our country spends money it doesn't have for things it devalues the money people hold at the time. No matter where your Aunt Martha hides the cookie jar with her money in it, the government can get right into it and suck all of the life out of it.

This first chart shows how in the past during times of war we printed up money and injected it into the real money supply. You can see the little bump rise showing the loss of purchasing power of the currency.



The slow rise of inflation has tricked me my whole life basically. Every raise I got I thought I was getting ahead. I was sadly mistaken. I was getting ahead less than I was falling behind.



Even playing the stock market was fun and I thought I was getting ahead. Big mistake there also. Sure things went up but things went up in lock step with the devaluation of the currency. When the money became worth half as much it took twice as much to by the same stock. Once again I was sadly mistaken. Not only did I need to pay the stock broker a percentage when I bought the stock but also when I sold it. On top of it was something called capital gains which was owed even though I never made a real gain I just exchanged the stock for more, less valuable, dollars.



I never really caught on until I was noticing the government seemed to always have all the money it wanted to get its way on things like illegal immigration.

No matter how much honest money people raise to build their country the way they want there are a few that can fire up the fake money presses and print up what ever they want to get their way.

We are going to have to regain control of our currency before we can regain control country.


P.S. It sort of seems to me that without any auditing we leave the door wide open for entities like central banks to buy politicians that spend like we see some of ours spend. After all they are in the business of charging us interest on loaning us our own fake money.

Yes -- I think we spend about 10 billion a year in Iraq -- pales in comparison.

And now Oflim-flam is talking about cutting the salaries of SOLDIERS -- you know -- the ones sacrificing their lives so the rest of us can live in peace and freedom?

How about swap those illegals and soldiers and bring back our Armed Forces to patrol our borders????

The thing is -- we get NOTHING from these people for all of this money spent -- come on -- a few bathrooms cleaned? Lawns mowed? Burgers served up? Seems like a high price to pay. I think what we actually receive in return are American lives lost, communities trashed, education wasted, crime up, hospitals closed . . . .the list goes on and on.

Makes me so crazy I don't know what to do . . .

The reason why the United States is in this situation is NOT just about illegal immigration but yes, the figures above are troublesome but they are simply linked to the greater problem.

From 1941 to 1945 the UNITED STATES produced around 300,000 military aircraft. I invite any of you to go to any american airport and ask your self how many of these commercial jets are made in the USA? Ever heard of Airbus? Bombardier? Embraer? IT USED TO BE ALL US AIRCRAFT.

How about cars? Toyota? Honda? Suzuki, Kia, Mercedes Benz etc.

The wealth of your country earned by winning ww2 has been shipped away by one American to make a quick buck. Ronald Reagan? Great guy right? On the USSR he was great but he killed this nation's economy in the name of a fast buck! Andean Free Trade, NAFTA, CAFTA, MERCOSUR, CHINA!

Cheaper labor abroad and then import this cheaper labor via ILLEGAL immigration. What has Bush/Obama done for "Main Street". How is Indiana, Ohio and Pennslyvania doing after a few years of Obama? Democrats want to shut down our Colorado coal fired generating plants. Good buy union railroad jobs coal miner positions as well. Environmentalist Dumocrats. Then Vestas, a EUROPEAN compnay gets invited to Colorado to build wind turbines. OK, but why not a US COMPANY? The CHINESE want to build California's high speed rail? AMERICA can't do it I guess? WIMPY Americans or just lazy and stupid? Paperpushers. The wealth has gone to China and buddy they build. We produce lawyers, politicians, talk radio hosts and illegals are invited to do the work! YUP!

AMERICANS DO NOT UNDERSTAND THAT SAVING A DOLLAR ON CHINESE GOODS SEND THE AGGREGATE WEALTH OUT OF THE NATION!

Democrats of the old union days are gone! Republicans want to sell the country. Banks, then made bad loans on housing. So, the average American is in debt as is the government. It is not tax and spend it is just spend.

Washington should RAISE taxes yes! On ALL of us! Washington needs to cut spending as well. This is how you balance a budget.

I am sorry ALIPAC folks. Illegals are hurting the economy yes but there is a trade off for the cheap labor. Whether it helps or hurts is up for debate period! However, when a nation fails to manufacture the GOODS it consumes then that country will be for the lesser! Of course, it is relative. If you have 10 million in the bank then who cares right? But overall, this shutting down of plants that, yes, pollute, has killed our manufacturing sector. Politically, both parties are to blame but I blame you and I too for buying that which is NOT made in this country. I don't care if Hyundai has a new plant in Georgia! That aggregate wealth goes to Koreans. We are a nation of consumers now when we used to produce.

THIS IS WHY THBE COUNTRY IS IN THE SHAPE IT IS IN! 30 TO 40 YEARS IN THE MAKING!

I am sorry, you cannot blame ILLEGALS on all of the things I mention above! Part of the problem? You bet!
