    Mexican, Denver Most Wanted, in Jail in Texas

    Mexican citizen, the sixth most wanted man in Denver, now in custody at Texas jail for homicide

    The sixth most wanted man in the Denver, Colorado area was arrested July 21, 2010 and currently is in custody in a Texas jail.

    U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers in El Paso took custody of a man wanted on an outstanding murder warrant in Denver.

    During inspections at the Paso Del Norte pedestrian crossing in downtown El Paso, CBP officers scanned and entry document a man presented and received notification that the person had an active warrant.

    The CBP officers took custody of the man and continued their exam.

    The inspection "revealed that the person was being sought by Denver police on a 2009 homicide warrant and an unlawful flight to avoid prosecution warrant," indicates a release by the CBP.

    "CBP officers arrested 63-year-old Arturo Talamantes Chavira, a Mexican citizen with a Denver residence."

    "Chavira is listed on the Denver Crimestoppers webpage as the sixth most wanted person in the Denver area. He was turned over to the El Paso police department and booked into the El Paso County Jail where he is currently detained and awaiting

    If he would have been pulled over In Arizona he would have had to have been arrested to find out he was a murderer according to JUDGE BOLTEN'S Injunction...
