Only post state name and article title for STATES where people are announcing they will file versions of AZ SB 1070.

I will check your posts and build our master list here

Texas, Georgia, Colorado - A couple of these people mentioned are candidates, though Nathan Deal is currently in Congress (sponsor of bill to end Birthright Citizenship, and running for Governor of Georgia)

Great list going. jamesw62, thank you for the many links.

If we email the legislation to every member in every state legislature, more states will do something.

HOLD ON FOLKS! I should have made this more clear.

Only link me to copies here at ALIPAC. I do not want outbound links when we are supposed to be the largest archive of info about these topics.

ARKANSAS was a group wanting it. but there was no talk about it being brought up by legislature

Georgia, i thought was linked. Former Congressman and Ga Governor Nathan Deal said he wants it if elected Governor

NEVADA

http://www.alipac.us/ftopict-197562.html

LAS VEGAS -- The Arizona state leader who helped create that state's controversial immigration law is hoping to spread the idea. He came to Las Vegas and found a receptive politician in Nevada State Assemblyman and Republican U.S. Senate candidate Chad Christensen.
Christensen met Arizona State Senator Russell Pearce in front of the Las Vegas INS office.

"The first step is we cut off the gravy train -- we cut off all the financial support," he said. "We need to get aggressive on this really quick. As a legislator, I know first hand that the state cannot continue to pay."

Governor Jim Gibbons resists the call for a special session, saying immigration reform is a federal responsibility.

"I think a lot of it has to do with politics. The sad part about it is the State of Nevada can't do anything about immigration reform," he said.
