D.C. police and U.S. marshals arrested 88 people wanted in paternity support cases following a three-day joint operation, law enforcement officials have announced.

One of those arrested included Yonas Tewolde, a suspect in a fatal shooting in Boston last year, U.S. marshals said.

Tewolde, 29, was arrested at the Marriott Courtyard Washington Embassy Row, 16th Street and Rhode Island Avenue NW, after marshals received a tip from their taskforce in Boston.

The operation, conducted from June 15 to 17, involved about 50 Metropolitan Police officers and deputy marshals from the Superior Court of the District of Columbia.
