Thread: Illegal Found Dead in Miami Dade Canal

They don't say illegal but with a wife and child in Mexico it is a given. I will find out more.

Miami-Dade homicide detectives are investigating how the body of a man ended up at a canal in Kendall on Saturday morning.

A man claiming to be his brother said the victim worked mowing lawns. He had a daughter and a wife living in Mexico.

Witnesses say the man was only wearing underwear and appeared to have a head injury. His clothes were nearby.

The body turned up at a canal near the southbound Florida's Turnpike Extension.

Residents at a nearby apartment complex at Southwest 118th Avenue and 66th Street could see the scene from their balconies.

Police ask anyone with information to call Miami-Dade CrimeStoppers at 305-471-8477.

Sounds like a drug deal gone bad.
