Man sought in abduction, rape of girl, 6

A man who lured a 6-year-old girl into his car by telling her she could play with his skateboard is being sought in connection with the child's abduction and rape, Ontario police said today.

The girl was with a 9-year-old playmate in the courtyard of her apartment complex in the 300 block of North San Antonio Avenue on Thursday evening when the younger child's mother told them they could play while she went inside to take a shower.

A short time later, a clean-shaven man in a gray-hooded sweatshirt "walked up to the children, told them in Spanish he had a skateboard in his car and asked them if they wanted to get it," Ontario Police Officer Dereck Anthony said.

The 9-year-old refused to go, but the younger girl went to a parking lot in the rear of the apartment complex and got into the car, Anthony said.

The man drove to a nearby residential street, sexually assaulted her and later dropped her off two blocks from the child's apartment. The girl walked home and told her mother, Anthony said. She was taken to San Antonio Community Hospital in Upland.

The attacker was described as a Latino, with a thin build, 5 feet 6 inches tall and between ages 38 to 45. Police said they are preparing a composite sketch. The car was described as a gray four-door sedan with a matching interior.

Major creep. Typical of the illegal mentality towards little girls. That mother is lucky she still has her little girl and she didin't become another child murder statistic.

Horrifying! America should be outraged that this is happening. Prayers go out to the innocent 6 year old girl and her family. She will be scared for life. I hope they find the scum responsible. 35-48 years old. How many other children has he harmed? He has a hot place waiting for him in the next life I'm sure.
