UPDATED, 11:35 a.m. with police captain backtracking on whether attack was racially motivated.

BELLEVILLE -- A Belleville police spokesman now says an incident where a white student was beaten by teen black assailants on a bus “may not be racially motivated.â€

This is a hate crime.

I agree, want to bet we hear zip zero nada from Obamanation, Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, et al?

The divide began a century ago, in 1903, when a black man was lynched by a mob of 5,000 people in the town square, set on fire and dismembered.

This is absolutely sickening....sure it was a LONG time ago (according to most of us alive today), but I am now curious, what happened to those who committed this horrible crime?

So knowing the problems this town has had, I would have to say it is quite plausible these kids did this as a racial thing.

This should be on every TV in America, but I doubt most Americans will ever hear about this.

As we speak, the PC Filters are going up now to suppress this story and to change it so it sounds like it was not racially motivated.

If this had been a bus load of white kids beating a black or hispanic kid then the story would go on for a year or more, there would be marches in this city, calls for resignations, and every American would be taught the name of the town where it happened and the name of the child that was injured.

Since the kid is white and the assailants are not the story will be hushed up and altered.

Those of us that monitor these kinds of stories see that happen over and over again.

Even if that white child had been killed on this bus in front of the crowd and cameras they STILL WOULD NOT LET THIS STORY be told to the nation.

Anyone need me to list off a few of hundreds of examples we have archived here to prove my point?
