Minuteman Operation "Stand Your Ground" Scheduled For April

The Minuteman Civil Defense Corps (MCDC) is pleased to announce their bi-annual thirty day border watch operation, this year entitled "Stand Your Ground." The border muster is being organized nationally throughout April in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona Washington, New York and New Hampshire. Thousands of MCDC members will cover 800 miles of the northern and southern U.S. borders in order to reduce the illegal crossings and drug trafficking that are traditionally higher in the months of April and October, by providing border monitoring support to the U.S. Border Patrol.

"DHS secretary Michael Chertof and Border Patrol Chief David Aguilar both are reporting apprehensions are down along the U.S./Mexico border – yet our volunteers are reporting the flow to be at an all-time high. We will use this April muster to expose the truth to the nation and hope the major news media outlets will join us in order to accurately inform the nation that our borders are being overrun with criminals."
