Carson City, Nevada protest
FYI, there was an pro-enforcement protest rally today at the Nevada State Capital in the courtyard attended by approximately 100 people. It was organized by an organization I'm not that familiar with called Northern Nevada Protest Warriors. http://nnpw.com/index.html
I don't think it was very well publicised, because I only heard about it on a talk radio station on Friday evening on the way home from work. A lot of other people my wife and I talked to there said they only heard about it at the last minute too. They had some good professional-looking signs and enthusiastic people. Unfortunately I forgot my camera, so I couldn't take any pictures. Had they done a better job with publicity, I think it would have had much better attendance.
A very busy street passes by the Capital and the protesters were receiving hundreds of supportive honks from passing motorists' horns, who could easily see the signs of the protesters.

Darn I'm currently attending unlv (university of nevada-las vegas) I know a ton of kids that have spoken out on this issue who as american citizens want the same as we all do on this forum. I've been looking all over for any pro-enforcement protests too bad that I found out a little too late, hopefully they'll plan another soon.

Welcome aboard, UScitizen! Greetings to a fellow Nevadan!
Yeah, I didn't have much notice either and I almost didn't go, but I live close so I was able to make it.
You may already know this, but there's a pro-enforcement group in Las Vegas:

You might want to check them out. Their site says they have monthly meetings every 2nd Tuesday of each month. Jim Gilchrist spoke at the one on April 11th.All that is necessary for evil to succeed is that good men do nothing. -Edmund Burke

Hey pat,
Although I'm originally from hawaii, I attend school at UNLV I've given a speech to my classmates addressing the issue behind illegal immigration. I've searched through FAIR's website for organizations in the nevada area and came across Secure our Borders which I have sent out the petition to build a U.S. mexican border wall. I've never seen the site you have posted it's very interesting and i'm glad that you also are a citizen of nevada, it's great to see such support. There's been talks amongst my friends that we all want to meet up with our friends at ASU (arizona state) and volunteer to patrol the border much like the minutemen...but it's still very much talk and not much actions. Hope to see you around the boards!
Thank you! We are ready to roll.
