Oklahoma law helps Tulsa recover

Two years ago CNN.com reported that a new law targeting illegal immigrants in Oklahoma was having an impact. " ...many Latinos have been leaving by the thousands since the law was passed in May."

According to Dan Howard, co-founder of OutragedPatriots.com, day laborers that were once a common sight on the streets of Tulsa are, for the most part, gone. Howard attributes this change to the effectiveness of the 2007 law. "Once again, Tulsa is becoming a nice place in which to live," Howard said.

Forbes magazine now has Tulsa on its list of "America's Fastest-Recovering Cities."

"Earlier this year, Forbes named the Tulsa area No. 2 in the midsize category for being among the 'Best Cities for Job Growth' and 47th out of 200 large metro areas for 'Best Places for Business and Careers.'"

Howard, a retired police officer, now deals in airplanes in the Tulsa area. With his co-founder Jack Horath, also retired from law enforcement, Outraged Patriots was well known for erecting billboards that featured a U.S. flag upside down under a Mexican flag with the words, Had enough? Some say his hard work and dedication helped Tulsa recover from the recession.

"The initiative of individual Americans is really beginning to show in the fight over illegal immigration and federal government malfeasance," said Glenn Spencer of the American Patrol report.

We need that same law applied in California.

We need the same law applied all over this country.
I always wondered why there were no day laborers at the local Home Depot, and out early one morning this week, I located them across the street hanging out in the parking lot of the Habitat for Humanity store. They had also spread to the lot of the Kentucky Fried Chicken which was not open yet. Moments like these make me see the inequity of the employers hiring cheap labor, instead of a skilled American; one to be paid under the table and the other working on the books. It is all money to be made and to Hades with the proper thing to do.
Just wonder what would have happened if I yelled "la migra!" out the window?

Would you look at that? A city that's actually improved once the illegals are gone. Who woulda thunk it, huh?

Good news I'm happy for the American citizens of Tulsa and the state of Oklahoma. I have applauded Oklahoma's push for changinglaws over the past few years. Brad Henry has done good job putting his Oklahomans first rather putting than filthy law breakers. Bill Richardson in New Mexico could learn a lot from Henry. But the illegal who fled Oklahoma are probably in states that are illegal alien friendly.

Hats off to those loyal non pc Patriots in Oaklahoma If the rest of the states would only take heed and follow.
