SUGAR LAND, Texas -

More than a dozen suspected illegal immigrants led police on a brief foot chase in a Sugar Land subdivision before being taken into custody.

Around 10 a.m. Wednesday, police tried to pull over a four-vehicle caravan in the Sugar Creek subdivision near Highway 59 at Highway 90.

The caravan pulled into a driveway and everyone inside the vehicles jumped out and began running, officials said.

Fifteen people were caught, including a 12-year-old boy, according to authorities.

Immigration agents were called to the scene.

Hmmph, what does this say about the "hiding in the shadows" theory?

Running and driving down the street in broad mid-morning daylight hardly proves that theory.
