1 arrested after man found decapitated in Chandler AZ.

CHANDLER, AZ - Police in Chandler say they found a man stabbed and decapitated inside an apartment and later arrested a nearby resident in connection with the slaying.

A police statement issued on Monday says officers were called to the apartment about 5:30 a.m. the previous morning. After discovering the slain man, detectives began an investigation and eventually arrested 36-year-old Crisantos Moroyoqui. He was arrested on suspicion of second-degree murder and hindering prosecution.

The victim is a man in his 30s. His name is being withheld until his family is notified.
