Plenty of Action Before the Game, but No Immigration Law Protests

PHOENIX — The All-Star Game parade was snaking along Jefferson Street on Tuesday afternoon when a rancorous voice rang out from the crowd.

Rebecca Garcia leaned over a guardrail and addressed the Arizona Diamondbacks’ bobcat mascot, Baxter, who was pawing a Dodgers cap as he strutted across the red-carpeted street.
