October, 1996 - The Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS) had published a study that estimated the United States to host approximately five-million illegal residents. It was also estimated in 1996, that the illegal population was expected to grow by 275,000 each year. This same study reflected that Texas was second in the nation to California at 700,000; to hosting illegal immigrants. California was estimated to host over two-million illegals in 1996, and a majority of all illegals are from Mexico. The report contends that Mexico leads in countries of origin for illegal personnel residing in the United States. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has republished the INS study as a report and maintains that of all illegals 41 percent are classified as “Overstaysâ€

[quote]April 7, 2011, the Center for Immigration Studies reported that in Texas 54 percent of all legal immigrants are on welfare and that 70 percent of all illegal and non permanent residents are collecting welfare benefits. Of those collecting benefits all are estimated to collecting from 2 or more programs. This in comparison to 39 percent US born citizens on the system. Perhaps one should question the Progressives in the government about their intentions; especially when one reflects back to the Immigration Amnesty bill of 2006. The Immigration reform bill in 2006 had an impact on potentially 10 million illegal residents and flooded the system gates and the welfare system, thus redistributing wealth on a massive scale and contributing to economic duress. Once more America finds itself being weighed down by the ever growing problem of over population by illegally entered personnel at an exponential rate. The federal government under the leadership of Barack Obama suing the state of Arizona for enforcing the law and the infernal insistence of the implementation of “The Dream Actâ€

A more recent estimate done by the Tuscon Sector Border Patrol Union, Local chapter 2544 states that as of 2004 the 1996 numbers estimated by the INS have climbed to anywhere from 15-20 million illegal residents.
15-20 million illegal aliens in 2004!!! So now in 2011, there would be how many? -- about 30 million???!!! We're always told there are 12 million illegals, that is such a bogus number. They just don't want us to know how bad the invasion is. Problem is we already do.

The website has a per capita chart that shows Texas as having up to 4,554 illegal residents per every 100 legal residents.
!!!!!!!!!! Do ya think just maybe that constitutes a full-on invasion, by anyone's definition??!!
