    Suspect poll on Immigration issue.

I appreciate your warning about the immigration issue. Your link takes me to an pro Obama site which did not have the poll you stated, (or your description of how to get to it is incorrect).

It is possible they changed it after your announcement. All I could find were affirmations in favor of illegal immigration. You need to take another look, and possibly warn your other members not to sign up for this site. I now fear that I will never hear the end of the junk Obama e-mail I will get by signing up for that site. I also had to turn cookies on, which for my surfing is limited only to sites I trust.

I fear you have been duped and you inadvertently created a situation in which many people who would have supported enforcement of immigration laws have now been tricked to vote in favor of the Obama position of destroying America by letting them all in.

In the future, advise your supporters to contact their elected representatives, who actually vote on these issues instead of sending them to a Pro Obama site where they will be tricked.

    Thank you,

Enforce our law is #3 right now at 654 votes. There has been some trouble with people voting for the wrong issue. People need to use caution.

    tedeabear,

    Thanks for participating.

Vote for the statements you agree with and ignore the rest.

There are several options but the one we are promoting is the enforcement of immigration laws and by voting, you will place a higher score and priority on that position.

Please go to the selection about enforceing immigration laws and vote on that topic. You're right, you do not want to vote to support the Dream Act or other like issues.

The only reason that site appears to be pro-illegal immigration is because it was shared with the supporters of that position so they have been postinging wildly and without challenge. Not for long because we are now on to them.

It was not just the immigration issue that appeared to be of concern to me, it was the whole site.

I did not see anything that I believe is conservative, from global warming alarmists to immigration.

I am disgusted with the turn our government has made and have little optimism that the outlook is good.

I will continue to petition my representatives with e-mail and telephone calls, although I think the only time they listen is during the election cycle, and then they try to fool us by letting the ones that are up for election claim they didn't vote for some inane issue, while all others vote to pass the legislation.

$700 billion plus 150 billion more for pork, and now the auto companies are in line and they (Democrats) want a trillion for stimulus.

I'll offer a real suggestion: If you like a candidate, get out and support them, do not give blindly to the national party headquarters of either party, they support the kind of garbage which keeps these self serving pigs in office.

    (Mod edit)
The local Sheriff's department does not participate in the federal program which trains his officers to make illegal immigration cases.

There has been a massive influx into this tiny town in the Great Smoky Mountains. All attracted by the hope, now confirmed, that the Democrats would gain control and grant amnesty. Instead of going into the cities, they are spreading out into rural areas.

At the social services office, all the signs are in Spanish. Some advise of their right to an attorney to help them with their problems. Also, and the one that really jacks my jaws, is all the Spanish "register to vote" posters. To vote you need to be a citizen. To be a citizen you have to show proficiency in the English language. Go figure, the U.S. is going to Hell and the have nots who want a part of your paycheck are paving the way.

Welcome to Alipac tedeabear Contacting our elected Representatives is something Alipacers are exceptionally good at. And I agree with you that continues to be important. But Obama has made it clear that the internet is going to be a major tool for his administration. We can't afford to let our voices be unheard on any medium.

Conservatives are still avoiding anything to do with Obama, Democrats/liberals so soon after the election. But I believe they will join in wherever they find they want to have input.
