Immigration Enforcement Won't Shift If DREAM Act Fails

Immigration Enforcement Won't Shift If DREAM Fails

    Friday, 17 Dec 2010 06:51 PM

WASHINGTON (AP) — Immigration officers are unlikely to take extraordinary steps to arrest young people who have publicly revealed they are in the country illegally should the DREAM Act fail in the Senate.

Assistant Homeland Security Secretary John Morton says immigration officers will continue their focus on immigrants who have committed crimes or are a threat to the public. He says they will handle cases of non-criminal immigrants on a case-by-case basis.

The Senate has scheduled a vote Saturday on the DREAM Act which would give provisional legal status to illegal immigrants brought to the country as children. The House approved the bill last week. Many young illegal immigrants have been pressing Congress to pass the bill in public demonstrations.

By definition, all illegal aliens are criminals. They broke our laws when they CHOSE to enter our borders or ports without permission, or CHOSE to overstay their visas. Why should AMERICANS AND LEGAL immigrants have to wait and worry about what ADDITIONAL CRIMES they are going to commit, or WHICH ILLEGALS will be the murderers, burglers, rapists, ID thieves, or commit DUI, or pedophilia with our kidnapped children, etc.?

Why should only AMERICAN CITIZENS and LEGAL immigrants, have to obey the law?!

    Illegals go home

Of course, the Demos are in the White House. We have to vote all the Demos out to change course. You know the Demos love illegal aliens to advance their socialist agenda. Do not forget 2012, we have to replace Obama and the Demos.

We'll just see what happens when the new Congress takes office in January . Morton can run his mouth all he wants to but he is bound by law to enforce current Immigation law which he has not done YET. I think that is about to change next year.

In other words, they will wait until an Illegal murders someone,or kills someone while driving drunk, THEN they will go after them What a way to run a country Why not just post a bunch of signs on the border that say .... Come on over and wreak havok on our citizens. We don't really care about them anyway.... We won't even bother you unless you kill somebody :

Morton is another crooked, corrupt and incompetent component of a crooked corrupt Homeland Insecurity Department. I am wondering about the outcome of Napolitamnesty's border photo-op.
