Thread: Murder charged in boy’s death

This story would be sickening enough as it is, add to it that this is another murder committed by another illegal and you just want to tear your hair out. As usual, the reporter leaves out the fact that this human piece of garbage is in the US illegally.

The newspaper allows you to leave comments on stories, I hope ALIPACers can fill the comments section about the reporter leaving out this important fact. I guess it doesn't fit his political agenda to report ALL of the facts.

A Scio man arrested Saturday in connection with the death of a 2-year-old boy has now been charged with murder.

Mario Juan De Dios Tomas, 26, who was born in Mexico, is being held in the Linn County Jail. An immigration hold has been placed on him.

The boy, Samuel Martinez-Castaneda, died Saturday morning at his home at 38106 Gilkey Road. Deputies and medics responded to a call about the boy not breathing and pronounced him dead.

An autopsy was done Sunday.

Linn County Sheriff Tim Mueller said this morning the boy died of “blunt force trauma to the abdomen.â€
