St. Louis Cardinals manager Tony La Russa is a supporter of Arizona's new immigration law.

St. Louis Cardinals manager Tony La Russa is sticking to his political guns. For the second time in a week, La Russa voiced his support for Arizona's immigration law that expects to toughen enforcement against illegal immigrants.

The law requires police to question a person's status if they don't appear to be legally in the country.

"It has nothing to do with Arizona,'' La Russa said. "What it has something to do with is that states should take care of what the federal government's not taking care of. That's their responsibility.''

The law has enraged many Hispanics and some athletes have called for the 2011 All-Star Game to be moved out of the state.

La Russa has five players currently on the roster born outside of the USA.

When asked about his manager's comments superstar Albert Pujols said, "don't talk to me about that. It's not my business" and team player rep Kyle McClellan said "it doesn't affect me, so I don't really have an opinion on it."

Tony is more than intelligent enough to understand..

Tony is more than intelligent enough to understand. The Arizona law is a direct result of the Federal Government's lack of interest, will, competance, ability, etc, to control the border. IT IS THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT'S FAULT that Arizona had to resort to this.

"It has nothing to do with Arizona,'' La Russa said. "What it has something to do with is that states should take care of what the federal government's not taking care of. That's their responsibility.''

Whether its on purpose that the Feds are allowing millions of illegals invade our country is another question. I believe they are as part of the transition to a North American Union, New World Order, and as part of dividing America and weekening it substantially, and even some hatred towards anglo-white people by some.

Just an example of how the MEDIA is making it a racism issue too...
Look for a latin/hispanic player and ask him how they feel about it. Fortunately, Pujols understands that its not his business to try and help Mexico invade and Reconqista the United States of America. Could he also understand that NOT EVERYONE can come here and that the U S does not have an open borders policy? No nation could withstand the masses flooding into it. Look at what a few million Mexicans has done to flip our country on its head and stretch its law enforcement, healthcare, welfare, Education etc systems to the breaking points...

Kidnapping is a federal offense too but when someone is kidnapped there are local people, as in sheriffs and cops, working on it too. Why is it so hard to imagine that the state would take off where the feds don't tred?
