Columbia police confirmed the four men arrested in the drug bust are illegal immigrant Mexican nationals.

They are held in Boone County Jail Friday with no bond.

All four were charged with drug trafficking Friday, and Rubi-Pedroza has additional charges for resisting arrest.

Police said Rubi-Pedroza tried to flee from police and threw a bag of cocaine out of the car window before getting arrested.

The illegal immigrants are expected to be turned over to Immigrations and Customs Enforcement agents when their charges are cleared.
