Fewer people applying for U.S. citizenship

Filing for H-1B visas for the next fiscal year opens April 1. In North Texas, the coveted visas are used for those with a bachelor's degree or the equivalent and specialized knowledge in fields such as engineering and bilingual teaching.

The U.S. government caps the visas nationwide at 65,000, and, in the past, those slots for the year are scooped up in the opening days of April. The government provides another 20,000 of such visas for foreign workers with a master's or higher level degree from U.S. academic institutions

So we are now brining in bilingual teachers under H-1B Visas to teach students who likely shouldn't be here in this first place!!

Please tell me this is not really how our government works! Friggin insanity!!!

So right off the bat we have upwards of 85,000 jobs that will not go to Americans! So what specialized knowledge does an IT worker from India have that an American worker does not have? Does the ability to work for less money constitute specialized knowledge?

They have broken the law coming into our Country.

Why bother applying for citizenship when all the application money can be sent home in remittances to the family. They know they can slide in here easily because of our open borders, pop out at baby and demand everything, starting with Medicaid, food stamps, free education, free medical care, and heaven forbid trying to deport these jerks and breaking up a family.
