Clackamas County sheriff's investigators say nine women have come forward this week to report being victims of a furniture salesman accused of sexual assault.

Mussa Isai "Moses" Dabud, 40, of Camas, Wash., was indicted Friday on charges of sexual abuse, attempted rape and phone harassment from the continuing investigation.

The case first came to light when a woman reported she was attacked July 25 at a Clackamas-area furniture store where Dabud was employed. He was arrested Aug. 22 following a monthlong investigation.

Investigators said at the time he might have more victims and appealed for them to come forward.

Detectives think the attacks might have begun as early as 2004 and occurred at both the current and former locations of the store.

According to Detective Jim Strovink, a sheriff's spokesman, a woman was shopping at Gallery Furniture, 12670 S.E. 82nd Drive, near closing time July 25. She said the only salesman on duty sexually assaulted her.

Strovink said Dabud worked at that location for four months. He also worked for seven years at the store's previous location, 13720 S.E. Johnson Road in Clackamas.

Gallery Furniture's owner and employees are cooperating with the investigation.

Dabud will be arraigned Monday in Clackamas County Circuit Court. His bail is set at $500,000. In addition to the sex crime counts, he is being detained on a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement hold.

Detectives remain convinced there are more victims. Strovink encouraged the public to report any unusual incidents possibly related to the case.

Anyone with information can call the sheriff's anonymous tip line at 503-723-4949. Text-message tips can be sent to CRIMES (274637 on a cell phone keypad), with "CCSO" as the first word in the message body.
