    Mexican army frees 55 undocumented migrants from kidnappers in border city

    By The Associated Press (CP) – 29 minutes ago

    MEXICO CITY — The Mexican army says it has freed 55 kidnapped Central and South American migrants in a raid on a house near the U.S. border.

    The Defence Department says soldiers acting on a tip found five children, 12 women and 38 men at the house in Reynosa, across from McAllen, Texas.

    The raid occurred Wednesday. The department said Thursday that soldiers also detained six men suspected of holding the migrants captive.

    Drug cartels and common criminals have increasingly turned to abducting undocumented migrants as they try to make their way to the United States.

    Kidnapped migrants are usually held until relatives in the United States agree to pay a ransom.

    What happened to the illegals? Did the Mexican army send them on their merry way to the United States? There is no mention of deporation.

    It is not a proven fact. Neither are the recent incursions by Mexican helicopters into Texas airspace.......

    Mexican Army

    Hey, don't get me wrong. I support Border Patrol and the risks they take daily to protect our country.
    I was just speculating about the Mexican Army escorting the immigrants into Tx. It would not be the first time the Mexican Military has been seen on the U.S. side, right? I truly believe the helicopter reports are true. It just isn't getting news coverage is it? We need to get people near the Border to take pictures next time. Keep your cell phone camera ready.
    Frankly, I liked the idea someone here mentioned about shooting down the invading military helicopter. Bet the media would report that !
