New Book Explains Why Mexican Illegals Bring Culture of Violence into U.S.

Author Boye Lafayette De Mente says Mexico's traditional macho culture responsible for growing violence in American cities.

Phoenix, Az (PRWEB) December 1, 2007 -- In his new book, "Why Mexicans Think & Behave the Way They Do," author Boyé Lafayette De Mente explains the origins of the culture of violence that Mexican illegals are bringing into the United States.

Known for his books on the cultures of China, Japan, Korea and Mexico, De Mente says that this violence is related to the traditional macho mindset of Mexican males which evolved from the official policy of the Spanish conquistadors -- who arrived in Mexico in 1521 -- to impregnate as many Indian women as possible in order to create a new race of Mestizos, or mixed-bloods.

"Over the next hundred years the conquistadors and their successors from Spain succeeded in their goal of producing a new breed of people," De Mente continues, "but after the first generation of Spanish conquerors passed away the racism and cultural arrogance of the newcomers from Spain resulted in them despising and discriminating against the Spanish-Indian mixtures, filling them with a deep-seated rage that men characteristically expressed in sudden outbreaks of extreme violence.

"This discrimination against mixed-bloods in Mexico continued for more than 400 years, finally beginning to subside in the mid-1900s, but it has not yet disappeared from the culture, and machismo attitudes and behavior remain a highly visible trait of young Mexican men, especially among the poor," he adds.

De Mente says that many machismo-driven Mexican men still feel compelled to strike out at anyone who disrespects them or refuses to let them have their way -- and that this compulsive feeling is magnified when they drink.

"It is vital that American law enforcement agencies and others be aware of this cultural element in the surge of violence now plaguing the U.S., and the longer the government fails to stop the flow of poor illegal aliens from Mexico, the more serious the problem of violence will become," he says.

De Mente's book, "Why Mexicans Think & Behave the Way They Do," is available from Amazon.com, other online booksellers, and leading bookstore chains.

This book sounds like a culturist must-read!

Multiculturalists say that we should celebrate diversity. That is because they really don't think diversity exists. In their minds everyone is naturally a positive, life affirming, law respecting, hard worker dedicated to women have rights and the freedom of religion. Culturism recognizes that cultural diversity is real and - as the anthropology chapter highlights - can sometimes be nasty.

Distant Neighbors: A Portrait of the Mexicans also describes high levels of domestic violence. He shows domestic violence to be so institutionalized that women accept is as a part of their lot in life. This has nothing to do with race. If it had to do with race, culturism would not be so necessary. All things being equal (which Mexican nationalism shows they aren't) minorities adjust to majorities. If the majority of a population thinks beating women and incest are okay, the youth of that culture - regardless of their race - will accept this way of life as good. If we want to maintain gains in female rights and our progressive society, we need to protect our culture by enforcing border laws.

Culturism has a domestic agenda too. Teen pregnancy is a huge problem and must be discouraged. Well, you might say that teen pregnancy is a life style. Multiculturalists would then say it is racist to discourage it. It is a lifestyle and it may be wonderful. But we have specific values and traditions in our culture. Valuing education is one of them. In our culture getting pregnant before you have finished high school is wrong. Our traditional culture is the basis upon which we should be empowered to judge.

Sex with young girls must be stopped too. You might think I am making an obvious statement. But cultural diversity exists. Statuatory rape laws are currently only enforced if there is a complaint. In Mexican families youth sexuality is considered normal. I have seen children making out in public in Mexico and no one saying anything. If we want our cultural values to thrive, we must be willing to promote them.

Being from a long line of equal rights fighters including myself in some ways, it is really hard to think we were not appreciated or even acknowledged for our effects .

But my kids and grandkids are not only taught we were all a bunch of slave owning , muslim killing white savages, but we were the only ones to be involved in it .

The race hustler Alex haley with all his Roots movies full of half truths and lies and others like him have divided us more than anything .

I guess that makes it alright then In Mexico they only remember what happened after Spanish conquerors came, but forget they are the the decedents of the Spanish conquerors. It must be a drag self hate like that.

The 'machissmo thing' is ever so prevalent with the influx of young hispanic males. It seems to be an endemic part of their culture (for whatever reason) and it will preclude most of the uneducated, itinerate males from EVER blending in with our culture. It's macho to be uneducated and tough! Intimidation is the key to 'winning'. Their women are intimidated and submissive and their claim to fame is having as many anchors as possible.

I don't know why all of the multiculturalists and globalists aren't smart enough to figure this out! Maybe one reason is that they don't have to live with it! It is our anglo-saxon culture that made this country great and it is the third world culture that will destroy us!

I've been very open about my dislike of the Mexican culture. I see no "family values" as El Presidente Boosh touts.

I know that incest and rape exists in Mexican families...it's more common than you might think.

They can't even remember what happen at the Alamo and that was only 150 years ago.
