Man gets 8 years in jail for immigration fraud

The former executive director of The Haitian-American Community Health Organization of South Florida, Inc., has been sentenced to 96 months in prison, three years of supervised released and ordered to pay a $50,000 fine, according to the U. S. Attorney's Office.

Gomez Accime was convicted in March of using fake immigration papers and applications to find jobs for South Florida immigrants. He charged each client $450, making more than $3 million, and submitted more than 10,000 fraudulent applications to federal agencies.
