Roberto Callejas, right, holds a sign along with group of protesters along Main Street just west of Alma School Road Wednesday morning. The group, Immigrants Without Borders, was demonstrating their importance to the economy.
Immigrant workers left their jobs Wednesday and lined Valley streets holding signs with slogans such as “I am your cook,â€Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

Hmmm, that's the first I heard about it. I guess their little protest didn't garner much attention.
The illegals in my neighborhood didn't attend......they're all too busy packing. I got two more notices yesterday from tenants heading back to Mexico.

Yes, it is good news!! The protest in the article Zeezil posted took place not too far from where I live and there was ZERO interest in it from any of the illegals here.
Hold onto your hat.......The East Valley Trib just may have another, similar article. When I was in my office around Noon yesterday, the news chopper from one of the stations came across another of these alleged "Work Stoppage/Boycotts" which just popped up near one of the malls. I think it was in Phoenix.
One of the tenants here who was there paying his rent was talking to my husband about all of this and he's not impressed by the Dog and Pony Show. He was saying that some fliers were going around at work but the legal workers, like himself, aren't about to get behind the illegals on this, and even not many of the illegals are even interested. He said they're more interested in earning what money they can while they still can, and also, they don't like the attention it's drawing.
Oh, and he told my husband, there's word around that a lot of these "workers" who are supposedly walking off their jobs for these protests, are actually people who have no jobs. LOL......I wouldn't put it past them.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

Wreath, they are peobably dayworkers that haven't been able to get a job so they protest. I am glad the legal residents would not stand up with them.
