PALIN TALKS ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION ON PA BUS TOUR
by Shushannah Walshe
HARRISBURG, PA – Sarah Palin’s bus tour throughout Pennsylvania made stops in Latrobe, Somerset, New Paris, and York so far. In Somerset, joined by her husband Todd she went on a tour of Leiss Tool and Die Co., which manufactures metal parts and does stamping and welding. Palin chatted with workers about the technology and the need for more vocational training.
Her next stop was New Paris where she visited Boyer Orchards, a large family-run apple orchard. While she toured the facility, her 7-year-old daughter Piper dressed as a snow princess for Halloween gave out candy to the rope line.
Palin met with the owners and they began discussing illegal immigration—an issue that was a very hot topic in the primary season, but Palin has not mentioned once on the stump since her selection.
Orchard owner Matt Boyer told Palin that he relies on migrant work for their very short picking season and they’ve had migrant workers for 30 years.
“Now it’s getting increasingly difficult to find legal help. People don’t understand this immigration issue. We need workers, we can’t get anybody, any local person to help us, its hard work, we tell people about our orchard and it’s a lot of hands on manual work.â€Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

Gag me.
I'd like to see her and tell her that I have neighbors, friends, and family who would happily work in Mr. Boyer's orchard if only he would pay them enough money to survive on!The flag flies at half-mast out of grief for the death of my beautiful, formerly-free America. May God have mercy on your souls.

As for the rest of this piece of crap 'article' it is insane that the lone source in the piece is a greedy employer that wants cheap illegal labor to stay.
The people in PA want the illegals gone. The amount of upside down propaganda coming out of these newspapers is grotesque.

What would someone from Alaska know about pickin crops anyway. I bet if she was shown parts of LA where illegal aliens inhabit she wouldn't support those views. She has not been tainted by the open border lobby yet.

If this "piece of crap 'article'" does not meet ALIPAC's standards, then the Administrator/Moderator(s) are welcome to remove it. It was listed on today's Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR)'s "Stein Report".

[b]People don’t understand that these guys, they don’t want amnesty. They don’t want citizenship. They just want to come in, and a guest worker program, make some money and get back home.â€

I'm not blaming you for this article being a piece of crap. Yes, of course it should be posted here at ALIPAC. I'm saying it is a piece of crap because of how absolutely biased it is showing only one side of the issue... the side of big agro.

Not all just want to work and leave.
We have a guestworker program that has been abused by the visa holders.
I can understand needing pickers, but they wont pick fruit, if they are here with a visa, unless we have a way of expelling anyone that overstays their visas. These people are leaving their picking jobs and headed to the day labor centers to make more money or to paid under the table constrution and service jobs. There are no harsh consiquences for overstaying the visa. They get a smat on the hand and are sent home. That's it.
We have so many people here with visas and they are not out picking the fruit, they are overstays having anchor babies, working illegally and demanding adjusted status instead.
As it is now, the AgJobs are just a magnet for visa overstays.
