Moran, Tiahrt battle heats up

TOPEKA — In the latest round of attack advertisements, Kansas Congressman Todd Tiahrt lobbed a television advertisement that said his main rival for the U.S. Senate seat supported services for illegal immigrants by voting for a children’s health bill in 2009.

The latest ad began airing Monday against fellow GOP Congressman Jerry Moran.

In the ad, Tiahrt said that Moran “raises taxes on everything in sightâ€

this could be an interesting campaign to watch in kansas the next few months.
