ALBANY, Ore. -- Police responding to a public indecency call Monday arrested a suspected illegal immigrant found with cocaine, methamphetamine and more than 8 pounds of marijuana stuffed into a duffel bag.

The suspect arrested on public indecency and drug charges.

A witness noticed the suspect exposing himself in the Heritage Mall parking lot at noon, said Albany Police Captain Eric Carter.

That witness followed the suspect, whose car soon broke down, and reported the man to police. Officers found the suspect’s vehicle disabled and blocking traffic in the 1800 block of 14th Avenue, near Heritage Mall.

The suspect told officers his name was Cain Calderon, but police said they suspect the man is in the U.S. illegally and believe he may have provided a false name.

He was lodged in the Linn County Jail.

Later Monday evening, detectives searched his residence and seized over two pounds of marijuana, methamphetamine, cocaine, scales, packaging material, drug paraphernalia, a fake Social Security card and a fraudulent resident alien card, Carter said.

The street value of the marijuana was estimated at over $30,000.
