    Thanks to Matloff, Hira, Miano, and Kim Berry for their efforts to fight on behalf of US technical workers/engineers.

    One small point that doesn't really come out in the article: Matloff is writing having deep and personal experience in the subject matter (he's worked in it, and in academia for a long time), Tamar Jacoby has never worked in the industry one day of her life. She's a shill for big business working in a NYC think tank.
