Bush, Vicente Fox Advisor Rob Allyn Tied to Gay and Lesbian Activist Group

Recently, Mexico's President Vicente Fox retained the services of a former advisor to President George W. Bush in order to help in imposing the Mexican agenda on upcoming legislation to toughen border security and illegal immigration laws.

Rob Allyn, who served Bush in his run for the Texas governorship and later his run for the US presidency, is now working for the Mexican president as his public relations consultant. Allyn heads one of the largest PR firm in the US, Allyn & Company.

Allyn's PR firm is also linked to (owned by) Fleishman-Hilliard, a self-avowed communications firm for gay and lesbian groups and activists. Listed on the FH website as part of their network, Allyn is active in promoting the gay/lesbian agenda globally.

The Fleishman-Hilliard Out Front gay and lesbian communications practice announced its expansion into the United Kingdom and the creation of a partnership to provide worldwide communications support for the seventh quadrennial Gay Games set for July 2006, according to their recent press release.

FH states that their successes, thanks to their network which includes the Allyn & Company PR firm, only demonstrates the growing momentum behind this first-of-its-kind practice, but also underscores the expanding demand among public relations clients for gay and lesbian communications. FH and Allyn & Company have pressured many within the corporate world to support their gay/lesbian agenda.

"The growth and success of FH Out Front clearly indicates that gay and lesbian communications programs are increasingly important to companies, organizations, and coalitions that want to influence an issue, address a corporate reputation challenge, or promote a product," said Fleishman-Hillard Chairman and Chief Executive Officer John D. Graham.

"Our vision is to be the global leader in gay and lesbian communications, and after just one year we are well on our way."

FH Out Front formally launched its UK practice earlier this month with the release of a corporate image survey conducted by Populous (a leading UK polling firm) and a reception for business and community leaders.

Allyn's critics say he will do and say whatever is necessary to forward his client's agenda. For instance, he recently told the Associated Press:

"If people in the US and Canada had an accurate view of the success of democracy, political stability and economic prosperity in Mexico, it would improve their views on specific bilateral issues like immigration and border security."

However, one critic easily rebutted this Allyn statement by simply asking, "If Mexico is such a haven of democracy and economic prosperity, then why are Mexicans literally dying to get into the United State?"

Besides being the president of Allyn & Company, he serves as co-chair of Vox Global Mandate, which was launched by Fleishman-Hilliard. Vox is a self-described international political advocacy group which is instrumental in providing positive media coverage for gay rights, abortion, anti-tort reform, federalization of healthcare, and other issues. Allyn himself backs legalized abortion, gay marriage and government controlled healthcare. He also opposes tort reform. Yet, he and his supporters continue to claim he's a Republican strategist and a conservative.

According to the Narco News Bulletin, Rob Allyn is never shy about stretching the truth or creating out and out fabrications for a client. For instance, when he worked secretly on Vicente Fox's presidential campaign, Allyn and the Fox campaign invented the phony group "Democracy Watch" and then invented a nonexistent group of "businessmen" with a bunch of invented "concerns" about being seen as "anti-government." Nothing at all transparent about that.

According to the Bulletin, Allyn even tried to buy them off with access and flattery:
"Let's talk directly as soon as we can. I firmly believe, having read your bulletins in the past, that you will see that we are on the side of the angels in this matter."
