Five Suspected Illegal Immigrants Taken Into Custody In Palm Bay
POSTED: 12:14 pm EDT September 8, 2006
PALM BAY, Fla. -- A routine traffic stop led to the arrest of five undocumented immigrants in Palm Bay.
An officer pulled over a van Friday morning on Babcock Street. Investigators said the driver was speeding thru a school zone. No one inside the van had a drivers license or any form of ID.
The officer determined they were all undocumented and contacted border patrol.
"It happens frequently,” Jennifer Cordeu of the Palm Bay Police Department said. “People come here from other countries with different cultures and no proper documentation. It is not uncommon for them to be here in the country,"
Investigators said the men were very cooperative. Palm Bay police turned them over to immigration. Immigration officials will be decide they should be deported.Support our FIGHT AGAINST illegal immigration & Amnesty by joining our E-mail Alerts at http://eepurl.com/cktGTn
