Hispanic workers in the United States and in Central America will find little advantage if a new Central American Trade Agreement is passed by Congress this spring. In fact, following the example of the North American Free Trade Agreement of a few years ago, those workers will be hurt by the adoption of the agreement supposedly designed to establish free trade between the United States and six Central American countries.
What we mostly hear from the American media is how business and government favor this agreement. No one is asking what CAFTA will do for the sector most concerned with outcomes â€â€I stay current on Americans for Legal Immigration PAC's fight to Secure Our Border and Send Illegals Home via E-mail Alerts (CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP)
