DHS won't use spy satellites for local policing

A Bush administration program to use spy satellites to help local law enforcement is being scrapped, Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano announced today.

She said state and local law officials told her that having access to secret overhead imagery was not a priority, the Washington Post writes. The Wall Street journal broke the story.

She said her decision to end the National Applications Office program "will not affect the ability of the Department or its state, local and tribal partners to use satellite imaging as currently allowed under existing policy in order to meet its many other responsibilities."

Here's how the Post explains the program:

Bush officials said the NAO could give domestic security and emergency management agencies new tools to deal with a range of problems, from securing the border to protecting land and sea ports against terrorism. In addition to tasking military satellites equipped with high-resolution sensors that can see through clouds or even penetrate buildings and bunkers, the program would serve as a clearinghouse for state and local agencies seeking access to intelligence community products, they said. Bush officials said the office would not intercept communications.

In the wake of the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks, the Bush administration began using military satellites to watch the United States, the Associated Press reported in 2004.

YES IT CAN...that's why they're (somewhat) "scrapping" it!! You didn't notice that Napolitano is FOR illegal immigration, supports it any way she can and that's the reason she was put into that position rather than someone like Sheriff Joe Arpaio who would put and end to it if he were the head of DHS!

BUT.... they WILL USE those same satellites to go after American citizens who dare commit an act of fraud, such as ID theft to get a bank loan or social benefits they aren't entitled to, like ALL illegal aliens do or any other move that can and will be construed as a potential terrorist threat if you don't agree in full with EVERYTHING this government says or does, like handing over your firearms for no other reason than they demanded that you do it!

I wish the Feds would just quit playing these head games and cat & mouse games with Illegal aliens and just come flat out and tell the American public what they are doing and why they are doing it. THE JIG IS UP!

The Feds wanted to bring this country, it's culture and it's greatness down to third world status and illegal aliens have been their perfect weapon of choice to degrade our society and kill off a portion of innocent law abiding American citizens in the process, by allowing gangs such as MS-13 to infiltrate and permeate our major cities and do what they do best, use violence against anyone who tries to stop them from dealing in drugs, prostitution and human smuggling in their neighborhoods!

This is the agenda and like nice, docile, quiet little sheep, we've allowed this to happen to us incrementally and it's going to get alot worse!
