Mexican Agency Calls off PW Policy Probe

Mexican Agency Calls off PW Policy Probe

Mexico's human rights agency has called off plans to investigate whether new policies in Prince William County violate the rights of illegal immigrants. Mexico's National Commission on Human Rights wanted to question immigrants about their experiences. It would have been the first attempt by Mexico's National Commission on Human Rights to look at efforts by smaller jurisdictions' efforts to fight illegal immigration through local laws.

But officials with Mexicans Without Borders, the group coordinating the visit, say they're afraid it might make the anti-immigrant sentiment in the county even worse.

Board of County Supervisors Chairman Corey Stewart - a leading supporter of the immigration crackdown - denies that he tried to undermine the visit but does say he's concerned about a foreign government trying to interfere in a U.S. locality.

County supervisors voted this month to have police check the immigration status of anyone who breaks a law. They also voted to cut off certain services to illegal immigrants and prohibit them from getting business licenses. --

Oh sure.....by all means, let's have the Mexican Commission of Human Rights gather "facts" from illegal immigrants about their experiences for a strictly fair and unbiased report

That aside however, it's important for everyone to remember that illegals from Mexico, as well as other Latin American countries, have been screaming racism and discrimination for years, having started doing so the day they began pouring over our borders. They have been fed a steady diet of anti American rhethoric which includes painting us all as racist, and they have been well schooled in using it to intimidate. They use it for every petty issue so it stands to reason that now that action is being taken to regain control of our nation, it's going to be used to the hilt now.

The fact that the Mexican government has jumped in, as are agencies acting at their behest, is to simply try and intimidate our governments at all levels so it can continue, business as usual.

The key is to stick to our guns and ride out the temper tantrum. The US has the law on it's side, these people have no rights here except to go home, and the Mexican government, nor any of it's agencies, has any right to be conducting any investigations or otherwise meddling in the affairs of our government, at any level.

We scored a huge victory in pressuring public condemnations of SCHIP and the Dream Act out of the White House.....we can sure manage to eventually effect a condemnation and warning to Mexico about continuing to interfere in our laws and policies from local to federal levels.

It might make the anti-illegal immigration opinions worsen - DUH!

Rub your arrogance and demands and defiance in the faces of Americans - WOW, not a great idea

Your demonstrative actions are like waving a bright red flag and expecting us not to notice.

But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.
