Obama has already started two partisan brawls; if he decides to tackle illegal immigration, he’ll get another.

Bush was a wolf in sheep's clothing. There is far too much "right wing" pressure for open borders - large corporations, builders, the Chamber of Commerce and small business owners. They put their bottom line ahead of their country and that is all this is all about.
Reagan said he made a mistake with amnesty. Really?? How could he be so stupid? He was an experienced politician for decades and governor of the state most adversely affected by illegals.
The last decent conservative president we had was Eisenhower.

With Obama's approval rating dropping like a rock over this health care bill, he would be a fool to tackle this issue this year. His disapproval rating now is higher than his approval rating.

Obama should look at these numbers before he starts anything as controversial as immigration reform.
