Over fierce objections and harsh language condemning what critics said were draconian measures, the European Parliament has approved rules that would allow illegal immigrants to be held longer in detention and in some cases shipped back to the countries from which they came.

Isn't there an ounce of common sense with these people who jump to racism and human rights issues when point blank.....these countries can not take all these people?! There are limits, period. Not to mention the countries these people are fleeing from are the ones with the most racism and poorest human rights.
