Sheriff Joe Arpaio's illegal immigrant hotline will remain in service, despite a meeting with religious leaders who warn the hotline could lead to racial profiling.
About six representatives from the New Sanctuary Movement met with Arpaio in his office on Wednesday to deliver a letter signed by 90 faith leaders asking Arpaio to remove the hotline immediately.
In the letter, the group called the idea “unconscionableâ€Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

Many of the families the organization helps have children who are legal United States citizens, who will be left alone if the parents are deported back to their native country
Please, please - someone poke holes in all this hot air.
What kind of family would leave their children behind? America isn't putting a 'hold' on these kids. These families are free to take them back.
What does their citizenship have to do with it? Evidently, these people didn't think a lot of citizenship when they came from their own country?
Evidently, the citizenship of the children of many of them meant nothing when they brought their children who were Mexican citizens here?
Evidently, 'roots' didn't mean much. Somehow, the roots of 5 or 10 years is supposed to be so important - when they left the country of their birth, their parents birth, their grandparents birth - where they have real roots to come here?
Someone needs to point out the fallacy in these 'feel good' statements.
Americans are, by and large, kind people. Far too many are going to be swayed by this unless we start to point out the pure silliness of all these statements.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

He is a real nice guy. I like his outlook on crime, those that commit it and life in general. A few years back I had the opportunity to speak with him on the phone. What I called him for had nothing to do with crime but none the less , given the opportunity to ask him some questions we did visit about aspects of it any way and as I say , they do not come any better from the stand point of what's best for America.
