PHOENIX - As voters across Arizona prepare for Tuesday's election the Secretary of State’s Office wants to remind voters to bring proper identification to the polling locations.

The federal court’s recent decision on Proposition 200 has reportedly caused confusion among voters on the documentation required to vote.

To ensure you will be able to vote, voters must provide:

•one piece of ID that bears his/her name, address and photograph (Ex: An Arizona driver's license), or
•two forms of ID that bear his/her name and address (Ex: a utility bill and bank statement), or
•one form of acceptable photo ID with another form of non-photo ID that includes his/her name and address (Ex: a passport and utility bill).
Polling locations across the state will open at 6 a.m. Tuesday and close at 7 p.m.. Voters already in line at 7p.m. will be allowed to cast a ballot however mail-in ballots must be received by the close of polls, and the post-mark date will not be considered.

I've been confused about this myself, I've heard different things from the media. I thought the judges ruled Arizona COULD require ID at the voting booth, but couldn't require any verification of citizenship status at time of voter registration. So this seems to confirm that.

Though not being able to confirm citizenship status is absolutely irrational and I think unconstitutional -- a state is NOT allowed to pass a law that would help verify a Federal requirement.....HUH??!! Stupid-asses. Judges are NOT infallible, including Federal judges.
