US Church Must Have a Political Role
    Posted on January 27, 2007

A LEADING Catholic has said the Church must supplement its ministerial programs with political advocacy if it is to meet the needs of the growing immigrant population in the United States.

Speaking at an immigration conference Los Angeles Cardinal Roger Mahony said that although some people question the Church's role in politics the church's mission is not limited to people's spiritual wellbeing.

"Our concern is with the whole person and his or her human development," he said.

He added that Catholics should form their opinions on immigration by considering the capacity of the United States to accept immigrants and the benefits immigrant workers provide.

The Catholic Church and most especially Cardinal Mahoney are already too involved. This is a perfect example of why the Separation of Church and State came into being. If the Church insists on getting involved they need to have their tax exempt status revoked! The Church is already involved in harboring and aiding illegal aliens.

The Church of Rome is no church. It is a government, replete with the power to make treaties. In effect, Catholicism is a government with a tax (the tithe) and with a population that has joint citizenship in the Papist Vatican City and the various nations in which it resides.

If you want a true vision of what the Church of Rome is, read Rev. 17. The seven heads represent the seven hills of Rome, and scarlet and purple are the colors of the Vatican:

Mystery Babylon refers to the old Babylonian mystery religion, which was propagated through the Persian tradition as Mithraism and then transferred virtually intact to the church of Rome. Everything from the monstrance to holy water to the Sun-day sabbat to the eucharist wafer (as opposed to the breaking of a simple loaf of bread) to the veneration of the Holy Mother (Isis/Ishtar, right down to the Madonna and child iconography which predates Christ by several centuries) comes DIRECTLY from the pagan mysteries and can be found nowhere within the Bible.

Catholicism is nothing more than a sham religion that is a continuation of the pagan Roman Empire, with the "Pope" (which is from Papa or "father" - see Matt 23:9) taking on all the "god on Earth" powers claimed by the Roman Emperor.
