L.A. Mayor: Immigration Reform Needed, Not Raids
(AP) WASHINGTON Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa says immigration reform is needed more than raids like those that arrested more than 750 people in the Los Angeles metropolitan area over the past week.

Villaraigosa says labor laws should be enforced, borders secured and a pathway to citizenship offered to illegal immigrants who've resided in this country, worked and paid taxes.

Villaraigosa made his comments following a speech Wednesday at the National Press Club in Washington DC.

According to US Immigration and Customs Enforcement, the raids in a five-county region targeted illegal immigrants who had previously been deported for crimes or defied final deportation orders.

Villaraigosa needs to clean up his city. The raids are necessary, long overdue and absolutely right. Everyone knows he's part of the open border crowd! He was out defending the illegals during the La Grande March in May. Now blacks are being murdered by latinos in his city because they are black.

Stick it in your ear Villaraigosa.

How much are you getting from the federal government to fight gang violence in LA?
