Three Salem men have been arrested on accusations they delivered substantial quantities of methamphetamine to the Lincoln County area, according to Oregon State Police.

Police stopped a car in the parking lot of WinCo Foods on Lancaster Drive SE in Salem on May 25, Lt. Mike Turner with the Newport office of state police said Tuesday. The two men inside were arrested and a search of the car yielded more than four ounces of methamphetamine, Turner said in a news release.
Arrested were Evaristo Solorio Garcia, 35, and Fernando Birruete Rangel, 28, on charges of unlawful possession and delivery of meth.
Investigators with the Lincoln Interagency Narcotics Team and Marion County street-crimes unit then went to the Salem home of a man who allegedly supplied the meth, Turner said.
Heriberto Valdovino Mendoza, 23, was arrested and charged with unlawful delivery of meth, according to police.
The arrests are part of a three-month investigation that determined that Mendoza took as much as a pound of meth to Lincoln County each week, Turner said.
All three suspects are at Marion County jail, where documents show they have Immigration and Custom Enforcement holds.
