Illegal alien sentenced to prison for murder

Virginia Beach, VA – On Tuesday, Circuit Court Judge William R. O’Brien sentenced Isidor Loredo Amaya, 31, to 48 years in prison after being found guilty of first degree murder, aggravated malicious wounding and weapons charges.

On December 26, 2009, Virginia Beach police arrested Jorge Alberto Fuertes Loredo, 31, and Isidor Loredo Amaya, after Florentino Martinez-Melendez, 40, was shot to death in a trailer park along Virginia Beach Blvd.

A second shooting victim survived his wounds.

Apparently, the fatal shooting was the result of a heated argument during a card game.

Laredo was found guilty of manslaughter and unlawful wounding and sentenced to four years in prison on January 11, 2011.

Both Loredo and Amaya are Mexican nationals are in the country illegally.
