    Lou Dobbs Show Today

    http://www.cnn.com/CNN/Programs/lou.dobbs.tonight/

While Lou's website indicates that his program today will be about the Middle East Crisis, he will also have a "special report" on why Congress is not stopping a trade deal that will sell out U.S. security to foreign control.

I hope I am wrong, but I have a feeling that he will no longer be our spokeman on illegal immigration. I believe that CNN caved in to the likes of La Raza after the demostrations last week.

Why is it that when Lou Dobbs comes off the subject for a few days everyone gets so nervous?

Lou is with us and I seriously doubt anyone is going to silence Lou Dobbs.

He would resign before allowing that to happen.

I doubt that very seriously. Backdoor stuff does happen but Lou has been on this topic for years now. I dare say if it weren't for Lou that it would have taken even longer for this movement to get real legs.

I agree with W. I think he would resign before being silenced on illegal immigration. I really believe he and his staff are speaking as Americans first and newscasters second on this issue.

I don't know when, or if, Lou Dobbs will get back on the subject of illegal immigration, but I do think it is rather niave to think he would resign his job with CNN over the issue. As for illegal immigration, there is plenty of information to dedicate a few minutes a night to the topic. Can't we agree that it is rather strange that Lou has dedicated at least half his show to the topic for months, and now we haven't heard a peep in two days. I don't know what's going on, but I don't think it is unusual for us to be concerned.

    I wouldn't wory about that.

The media is hoping WWIII breaks out in the ME so they can boost their summertime ratings.

Anyway, isn't the Congress about to go on vacation again?

Lou will be back on the subject. The middle east crisis has taken over the news at the moment. I'm not worried about Lou.

but I do think it is rather naive to think he would resign his job with CNN over the issue
Hmmm not real sure what to say to that because we must be coming at this from different angles. To me this is not an issue of the moment nor an issue that has compromise in it. This is an issue that will determine exactly where America is going and more importantly what America is. IOW This is an issue that will come to a head one way or the other.

I believe that this issue is personal to him. Maybe I am naive in thinking that this is more then just ratings to him. However as I have watched him over the last 12 months or so on a semi-regular basis and also in other debates and interviews I believe he believes as we do in that this is an American issue with dire consequence if we don't stop it now. I know what I am willing to do and I guess I project that on anyone else who I think is on the same page as I am? I will not be threatened with ecomnomics on this issue for what I am talking about money can not buy.
