Satellite receivers were recently installed on the roof of the new Hall County jail.

Their purpose?

To bring Spanish-language television programming to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detainees.

This might be an opportunity for the SOB illegals from Mexico to learn the language of the country they have been stealing from for far too long.

Right on. I also say that we need to get rid of all the free UHF spanish channels, and replace them with more free programming for Americans. Save one spanish channel that will broadcast nothing but English lessons.

I thought ICE was constantly having to prove to judges that they aren't "targeting Hispanics" when they arrest someone of Spanish descent. Since "Hispanic" means specifically "a Spanish speaking person in the United States", why isn't the installation of Spanish-language television in a U.S. jail another "humiliating example" of "targeting Hispanics" rather than a demand by the same?

These are the same people who are in this country, illegally working, and apparently speak no English! This is why you cannot find a job in some locations unless you speak spanish! We are bending over for these illegal invaders at every step in the road, including their final days in this country while in detention!
