MESA, Ariz. - A grand jury has indicted a Mesa group home worker accused of having sex with a 15-year-old resident.
A Maricopa County Attorney's Office spokesman says Alejandra Rivas has been charged with two felony counts of sexual conduct with a minor and two felony counts of forgery.
Rivas is being held without bond in the Maricopa County Jail because of her immigration status.
She is a 28-year-old illegal immigrant.
Maricopa County sheriff's detective Aaron Douglas says Rivas admitted to having sex with the 15-year-old boy on at least one occasion.
Nine boys stayed at the Youth Enlightenment home at the time of the encounter, and court records show other boys witnessed the sex act and also saw the woman masturbating.
Court records show that Rivas lives in Chandler, and neighbors say she has five children.

Aren't group home workers usually given background checks? Wouldn't that show she was illegal or would the background of the person whose SSN she was using be the background that was investigated?
This is why all states should deny bail to illegals accused of serious felonies, because this alleged pervert would be in hiding or buying a new alias and starting her new life in a different city or state if they let her go.
